A Visit From Ross (Skippers)

For our concept learning, Georgia's Dad Ross came to visit us and show us all the fun he has managing Coronet Peak. 

We watched a funny video of all the people who work there. 

There are 450,000 people who visit the ski fields each year. So he told us about the rubbish and recycling.

2000 people go up th chairlift per hour.

The Green Gates chairlift has a span of 40m high.

Learning About Levers

We are learning about simple machines. Today we were learning to identify different levels and we even had a go at making our own. What levers can you spot at home?
